Neither, actually. They are calling it the "third network", with an emphasis on new music - thus targetting Nova and Triple J. There's more here.

I meant Brett, will the new station be on Triple M's digital radio spectrum or B105's? It would be crazy to have the new station running on both stations digital spectrum, wouldn't it...

Oh, sorry. Not sure but my reading of it is that Austereo aims to have one extra national station and an extra local channel in each market. I guess it doesn't really matter, unless Austereo ever wants to sell stations. I'll take a punt and say they'll attach it to Triple M.
