Brett, I don't think people even knew Riverfestival was on this year. There were so few public events compared with previous years as well as being slotted after the Beijing Olympics. Considering that this year they also used the same creative director as the old Brisbane Festival...

As for Riverfire, I pose this question.

#1 Will the television rights come up for bids, as the Riverfestival no longer exists?

And #2, Will Riverfire change from contemporary to classical music to suit it's position as part of a arts festival?
