| Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross have paid the price for their prank call to Andrews Sachs, but the world is laughing along with French Canadian comic Sebastien Trudel who fooled Sarah Palin into thinking he was French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The difference? I think it's because one was a mean-spirited and personal attack on an elderly man who didn't ask for it, the other exposed the naivety of somebody who has suspended some of their rights to privacy by pursuing high office. Brett, for a minute tonight on the news, I actually thought they rang Tina Fey not Sarah Palin... She does the Palin impersonations so well, pity 30 Rock doesn't get a better primetime slot down under. Fey for President in 2012! (But seriously, we are getting a unusual level of FTA coverage in Australia of the US elections this year, with both 7 and 9 going for live coverage on Wednesday morning. What is your opinion of it? I thought the call was a cruel joke at first, but after Sarkozy referred to Hustler's "Nalin Palin" as a biography
of Sarah Palin, you have to blame her for being oblivious at that point.
