I would just like to say that whilst Wayne "Poo" Roberts, Michael, Thea made an awesome team always fair to all the listeners. What a huge huge loss to our ears in the morning. Nobody can do what he does. He is vitally important in keeping spirits on a high. Especially when you are having a down day.

River 94.9 has lost a person that is very special, Sorry to hear last friday being announced that Wayne was finishing up. When he was off air for one day it was like where is the Mastro.

Love you Wayne Poo Roberts you will be missed.

Waynee Poo will be missed by river 94.9, mornings will never be the same no other station comes close to matching what the poo can do. River will suffer dearly. Will miss you poo.

We have some great stations back home in the UK, in fact I still listen to many of them on the internet but the Poo is far and away the best presenter I've heard anywhere here in Australia. With so many stations to choose from in one city you really do need a talent like that to rise above the rest. I sincerely hope he will be back on the Brisbane airwaves soon. Preferably on the breakfast show to once again get my day off to a good start !!

I have listened to the Poo for more than 25 years, met him once and found him very down to earth. I went to Hoonays shows many years ago with Wickety Wak, most wont no who these events or entertainers were unless you are of my vintage. Poo you are a legend and i hope you go back on air soon as the last break was way too long. Cheers and thanks for the laughs.

I have been reading all about Wayne Roberts and how listeners miss him. That reminds me of a hilarious record he had out many years ago. I cannot recall what its title was but it seemed to give advice to new migrants on the Australian vernacular. Terms like "off like a bucket of prawns in the sun", "the owner breeder and trainer" and "eat the left leg of a skinny priest" were some examples.
Do you know where a person can get a copy of that record or at least hear it again?
That would be appreciated.
