What's Dunn doing?

One rumour has it that Dunn (right, guest-hosting Channel 9's Extra) has been having discussions with 4BC management with the view to an afternoon or drive-time show next year. Time will reveal all. By the looks of it Brett, Dunn is not done, especially with the level playing field that digital radio will bring in for AM radio after nearly 30 years of struggles against FM radio.
It'll be a while before
It'll be a while before digital radio takes hold, because there won't be a lot of receivers around, but at least it will mean higher quality on AM for those who wants it and more choice for listeners to free-to-air broadcasts (licence holders will have the option of broadcasting another stream). I think the internet offers more promise in terms of variety in listening, though. With a good 3G device, you can now stream radio from anywhere in the world on your phone or PDA.
