An Internet poll in the UK has named Freddie Mercury and Queen's Bohemian Rhapdody as the No. 1 pop song of all time. The rest of the top 10, in order, are: Y.M.C.A. by the Village People; Bryan Adams's (Everything I Do) I Do It for You; Angels (Robbie Williams); Red, Red Wine (UB40); Imagine( John Lennon); Sweet Child O Mine (Guns N Roses); Billie Jean (Michael Jackson); Dancing Queen (Abba) and Can't Get You out of My Head (Kylie Minogue). What, no Beatles and Bryan Adams better than John Lennon? It's a joke.

Only one ABBA song ? Bloody
Only one ABBA song ? Bloody travesty, I say !
To go off on a slight
To go off on a slight tangent.I was at school in London when The Village People starting strutting their stuff. As hard as it is to believe now,the main topic of conversation wasn't the song ( YMCA ) It was whether they were, indeed, gay ! ( Not that there's anything wrong with that ) Rumour had it at that time that the lead singer was married but the rest batted for the other side.I simply refused to believe this ( although I wasn't sure about the Red Indian ) I mean the bikie ( and his leather gear )Construction Worker and Randy the Cowboy, gay ????
Say it aint so Brett...say it aint so ! ( I repeat, not that there's anything wrong with that ! )
ps After seeing the movie,You cant Stop the Music, all doubt was definitely removed...Such innocent days !
I've been having an email
I've been having an email conversation with a friend on a similar topic, and he tells me that he only realised John Michael Howson was gay three years ago.
JMH gay ? Next thing,
JMH gay ? Next thing, you'll be saying that Liberace was gay !
